Ft. Collings Lakeside is a very nice KOA. Spacious sites, and the most impressive part is how clean it is. It takes pride to maintain a RV park this way and pride is evident here. We found it a little difficult to find as it is not directly off of I-25. It is in an old industrial park of some sorts, but that setting provides for lots of space. The fitness trail is awesome with a very beautiful setting to run in. The showers were very clean. They made my boys wear helmets, which they provided, when they rented the 4-wheel bikes. The pool was clean and very nice. The staff was very friendly. The grass needs a little work, the trees are small and the interior roads need to be paved. That is why I'm giving an 8 out of 10. We would stay here again.

Very nice KOA. One thing we did notice is that there is a very low ratio of KOA staff members. The pool wasn't very clean, and it was crowded. (You can expect that as it was 100 degrees out!) The showers were ok, however full of flies. Our site is absolutely beautiful, however as you can see, we paid for it! It had a gas grill, swing, table, bench and concrete pad....not to mention perfectly level site. We made our reservations very early, and it that was a good idea as this is a very busy KOA. There is wonderful landscaping, real grass, paved streets and overall, the grounds are beautiful. There is a pond nearby so we noticed a few mosquitoes. The miniature golf was nice and very reasonably priced at 2.00 per person. We would definitely stay here again and we do recommend taking exit 447 for the paved road versus the construction shorter route.

Very nice KOA. We went horseback riding, as well as utilized the laundry facilities, ice cream shop and the store. Our boys enjoyed the scavenger hunt and for a prize they received a free round of miniature golf. This place is so large that I was able to do a 5 mile run just inside the KOA campground! We were gone most of the time visiting the attractions, but we would recommend this campground to anyone especially after seeing the other campgrounds available. The grounds could use some work, that is why I'm giving an 8 out of 10. This campground has everything else you could need for an enjoyable stay. We camped here three nights.

Salt Lake City KOA is a very pleasant KOA. I would say it is above average as far as KOA's go. The store is small, however the trees are mature and with paved roads and level sites, our overall experience was very nice. It is located in the older part of town, however we did not experience any difficulty finding it. The staff was friendly to us, and there is a fitness trail and running path next to the Jordan river which runs directly behind the KOA. The pool is clean and the park is clean as well. There are no fire pits..., however that was not a deal breaker for us. Loved the park, and would return anytime we are in the area!

Grand Junction KOA is your typical KOA. There is one section of pull-throughs that have grass between them. The rest are gravel spots 100%. The laundry facilities are only open until 9:00pm as they are located in the main store. The store is very small, with only essential things there. There is one bathroom/shower facilities for the entire campground. Each male/female facility have four showers and we found them clean and overall nice with tile and spacious room to move around in. The pool was a little on the small side, but it was very clean and the rules were strictly enforced. The campground has a small playground and a fenced in gravel area that they called a bark park. The back fence is the dog walk area. The KOA is a long way from I-70 and it is located next to the fair grounds. We happened to make our reservations very early not knowing this was fair week. The campground was completely full and the fair could be heard until late into the evening. Other then fair week, it is probably fairly quite (no pun intended). Highway 50 runs in front of the campground and the noise is evident most of the time. This is a great place to stop if your in need of a hub into Arches National Park. We were able to leave the campground and tour the park in about 6 hours. We would stay here again.

The Bear Lake/Garden City KOA is a wonderful KOA! Probably one of the best we have stayed at. This is a very busy campground, however they utilize a very large staff and it is very well run. The store is a small grocery store. The pool was small for the size of the campground, however they also have a jumping pillow for the kids. We enjoyed our stay here and we would gladly stay here again! We stayed here four nights.

The center section of this campground is made up of pasture grass and weeds with mostly front to back sites. With grass/weeds in the middle, the sites are marked with a stake and therefore you really don’t exactly what is your space. The pull through premium sites face the highway and look at some residential homes and field. The roads inside the campground are dirt. Being this is one of the oldest KOA’s, they have had plenty of time to week wack and mow, fertilize and landscape, however they simply have let this campground go. Some of the sewer connections in the premium sites were truly unacceptable and in need of repairs. There is one section of tent camping that has nice grass and you see that as you enter the campground. The store is the smallest KOA store we have seen. The wireless internet is stated on the website as available with a charge, however we were not offered it at all and don’t know if it is still available. I would call them if this is important to you. There is modem access in the store for a charge. The ice-cream social is $2.00 per person. (This same ice-cream social is .50 a bowl at the Twin Falls KOA) The hayride is a trailer pulled by a tractor. It is a thirty minute bumpy ride along I-15 and you get to wave at truckers. The NC staff was wonderfully friendly. We were not escorted to our site, and we were placed by an empty partridge family bus we believe was the KOA owner’s bus. (Our site also did not come with a picnic table. We asked and we did get one.) The bus was later moved to accommodate a motor home that had reservations for a patio site, however it was taken; apparently over booked, although the campground was not full. The customers were not happy. Some of the guests didn’t mind if their dogs barked, as a dog owner…, we did, as it was non-stop! My son (10 yrs old) took our dog for a walk on the main road in the campground when a pit bull took off after our dog. I stepped in to save them both. This cannot happen, ever in a campground…as there is a leash rule and KOA has a breed rule. The night before our family went for a walk and the owners of this dog had to hold the dog back from coming after us. Still, it was not on a leash. We could hear I-15 and the main highway road noise at times. The web site says they have hiking. (Quote directly off of the web site) Local activities: • Hiking right across the street. You can hike up into the mountains and enjoy the fragrances that this amazing fruitway offers. We assume they meant the mountains which are not right across the street. However we looked for public access to a trailhead and couldn’t find any. Everything is private property and inaccessible. We love KOA’s and with some TLC, this could be a really nice place! We would probably try out a different RV park if were in the area again. We stayed here in a motor home.

This is a very small RV park with the sites close together. There is a lot of road noise and we did notice the cow smell which was topped off with a crowing rooster. Upon check-in the manager told us she was trying to eat dinner but kept getting interrupted. We didn't know if we should let her finish her dinner before checking in or just go somewhere else. The internet worked well and the hot tub was clean and hot. As far as we noticed, we were the only people that used the hot tub. The showers were clean, however there was not a lot of water pressure. The RV park was clean and our pet received a treat when we checked in. Early in the morning, the manager came by and I waved at her and she looked the other way. For some reason we felt like we weren't welcome. Maybe it was just us. Overall, a nice place to stay overnight. We would probably look elsewhere before staying there again.
